A nevem Vighné Csávás Enikő. Kutyák iránti szeretetem már gyermekkorom óta elkísért. Első törzskönyves kutyámat 16 évesen vásároltam meg, egy angol cocker spánielt, akivel belekóstolhattam a kutyakiállítások és a tenyésztés világába. Ebből az időszakból származik kennelnevünk is - of Midsummer Night's Miracle (magyar fordításban: Szentivánéj Csodája) -, amely irodalom és Shakespeare iránti szeretetemből fakadt, mert ő volt az első, aki "Szentivánéji álom" című művében a fajtára utalást tett.
Később az egyetemi tanulmányaim miatt a fajta tenyésztését abbahagytam. Viszont az elsőként született spániel kölykeinknek köszönhetően, lettem az, ami. Megismerkedvén a születés csodájával egy év után, melyet a Szegedi Tudományi Egyetem Biológia karán töltöttem genetikai és kinológiai ismereteket szerezve, szülésznő lettem. Kinológiai és szülészeti szaktudásom lehetővé teszi, hogy a tenyésztésben is tudatosan járjak el.
Kutyusaim egyetemi éveim befejezése után közvetlenül tértek az örök vadászmezőkre. Az angol cocker spánielek elvesztése fájó űrt hagyott maguk után, így egyben biztos voltam: más fajtát szeretnék. Néhány év kutya nélküli időszak után így kutatni kezdtem.
Amit kerestem: legyen kis termetű, de legyen "igazi" kutya, alkalmazkodó, legyen "kis fogyasztású", legyen hosszú szőrű, de szőrét ne hullajtsa, és ha lehet, hipoallergén. Lehessen jól reprezentálni kutyakiállításokon, és legyen angol, ha már angol kennelnevünk van. Így esett a választásom a Yorkshire Terrierre.
Rengeteget bújtam a szakirodalmat, a közösségi oldalakon fellelhető csoportokat, és szembesültem a magyar szaporító társadalom brutális tevékenységével, amivel ezt a fajtát teljesen tönkreteszik és amortizálják.
Az egyébként genetikai betegségekkel nem terhelt fajtában számos betegség üti fel fejét: degeneratív folyamatok, idegrendszeri problémák, epilepszia, vízfejűség, a kis termet miatt különböző szűkületek (máj shunt és légcső szűkület), patella ficam, Perthes kór, allergiák, stb... Nem beszélve arról, hogy a fajta rendkívül jól hamisítható, keverhető, és amikor már az új jövevény a gazdinál van, hónapokkal később döbben rá a turpisságra.
Hosszas keresgélés után találtam meg kennelem alapító szukáját, Warrior Diva-t. Ő általa tanultam meg a yorkshire terrier speciális szőrfelkészítési technikáját, és mutatta meg nekem azt, hogy milyen a nagybetűs YORKI. Junior és felnőtt champion, többszörös fajtagyőztes - amit csak ketten értünk el, mindenféle segítség nélkül.
Időközben a Magyar Yorkshire Terrier Egyesület tagja lettem, és megismertem Radvánszky Katalint, akié Magyarországon egyedülallóan számos európa és világgyőztes yorkshire terrier, és nemzetközi , fajtaspecialista küllembíró. Rengeteg építő kritikát és segítséget kaptam. Így amikor eldöntöttem, hogy szeretnék még egy szukát, beköltözött hozzánk Bella-Roz of New Deal, aki a 2019-es év fiatal szukája lett.
Katalinnal a barátságom azóta is töretlen, ő lett tanárom, mentorom, tőle tanultam meg látni is a fajtát. A magyar állomány minőségének megállapítása után úgy döntöttem, célom az eredeti fajta és a lehető legjobb tulajdonságok, gének megőrzése lesz, ezért kennelembe jó pár New Deal vonalat integráltam, hogy Katalin örökségét, munkáját megtartsam. My name is Mrs. Enikő Csávás Vigh. Since I was a child, my enthusiasm for dogs has been accompanying me. At the age of 16, I bought my first pedigree dog, an English Cocker Spaniel, with whom I could learn to play the game - I began dabbling in the world of dog shows and breeding.
Our kennel name - Midsummer Night's Miracle- comes from this period too, which stemmed from my devotion of literature and Shakespeare, because he was the first to be refered to the breed in her "Midsummer Night's Dream". Later, due to my studies, I got out of breeding.
But, thanks to our first born cocker puppies, I became what I all ever wanted to be. After I learnt more of the miracle of birth- a year later, (which I spent at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Szeged, gaining genetic and cynological knowledge, I became a midwife. My expertise in cynology and human obstetrics allows me to act consciously in breeding.
My cockers went to the bridge - immediately, after I passed my college years. The loss of the English cocker spaniels left something to be desired, I was sure of one thing, I wanted to make choice - for a different breed. After a few years without a dog, I started to recruit another thing.
What I have been looking for: a real dog, which has a small size, is low - consumpted, long haired, and if possible, is hypoallergenic. At dog shows, is well represented, and outh to be English, if it already has an English kennel name. So this is the reason, why I chose the Yorkshire Terrier.
I read a lot of literature, and I was confronted with the brutal activity of the backyard breeders, with which this breed is being under demolition.
In this breed, that is not burdened with genetic diseases, but many diseases to be occured: degenerative processes, nervous system problems, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, various stenoses, (liver shunt and tracheal stenosis), patella sprain, Perthes disease, allergies, etc... And besides, the breed is extremely well forged, mixed, and when the newcomer is already with the owner, months later, he can spill the beans.
After a long search, I found the kennel's founder bitch, Warrior Diva. I learnt the special hair preparation technique of the yorkshire terrier, and showed me that a real Yorki looks like. She is junior and adult champion, multiple best of breed winner - we achieved, without any help.
Meanwhile, I became a member of the Hungarian Yorkshire Terrier Associaton. I made the acquaintance with Katalin Radvánszky, from whom I recieved a lot of constructive criticism and help. When I decided to have another girl, Bella-Roz of New Deal, who became the top junior female of the year in 2019.
In the meantime, I became a member of the Hungarian Yorkshire Terrier Association and met Katalin Radvánszky, who is the only person in Hungary who owns several European and world-winning Yorkshire Terriers and is an international, breed specialist appearance judge. I received a lot of constructive criticism and help. So when I decided that I wanted another bitch, Bella-Roz of New Deal moved in with us, who became the young bitch of the year 2019.
My friendship with Katalin has been unbroken ever since, she became my teacher, mentor, and I learned to see the breed from her. After determining the quality of the Hungarian stock, I decided that my goal would be to preserve the original breed and the best possible characteristics and genes, so I integrated quite a few New Deal lines into my kennel to preserve Katalin's legacy and work.
